The MT3608 chip is used to increase DC voltage. The minimum voltage is 2V. The MT3608 board provides a minimum output of 5V DC.
What can be done with this voltage boosting chip?
Make lithium batteries output 5V, 6V, 9V, or 12V.
Convert a 4V or below into outputs of 5V, 6V, 9V, 12V, or higher.
Small module board for voltage boosting.
The MT3608 chip consumes power below 5mAh, very efficient for internal idle power. It can be connected to lithium batteries for 6V or 9V battery applications.
DC-to-DC conversion is most efficient around 200mAh.
Second most efficient ranges are 100-200mAh and 300-500mAh.
