"And Tango Makes Three" has been challenged or banned in numerous schools and libraries across the United States and other countries. The book has faced multiple challenges in Texas school districts. For example, in 2006, it was challenged in the Shiloh, Illinois Elementary School District, and in a school district in Lubbock, Texas, for its depiction of a same-sex relationship. In 2022, Florida passed legislation that affected the availability of books like "And Tango Makes Three" in school libraries. Specific districts, such as in Escambia County, have faced challenges over this book.In 2008, the Davis School District in Utah removed the book from elementary school library shelves after a parent complained. The book was moved to a section where students needed parental permission to check it out. In 2006, it was challenged by parents in the Fayetteville, Arkansas School District (though not Missouri, this is nearby and indicative of regional sentiments). The complaint was based on the book's themes of homosexuality and same-sex parenting.Breakfast In AmsterdamRainierbooks2024-08-29 | Breakfast in AmsterdamHeld by Anne Michaels (BOOKER LONGLIST 2024 - Ive Read Something #93)Rainierbooks2024-08-28 | Held by Anne Michaels (BOOKER LONGLIST 2024 - I've Read Something #93)James by Percival Everett (BOOKER LONGLIST 2024 - Ive Read Something #92)Rainierbooks2024-08-26 | James by Percival Everett (BOOKER LONGLIST 2024 - I've Read Something #92)Resurrection Walk by Michael Connelly (IVe Read Something #91)Rainierbooks2024-08-26 | Resurrection Walk by Michael Connelly (I'Ve Read Something #91)Trollhättan - A Weekend VisitRainierbooks2024-08-19 | Trollhättan - A Weekend Visit
Trollhättan is a town in southwestern Sweden, located along the Göta Älv River, about 75 kilometers north of Gothenburg. It has a rich industrial history, particularly known for its engineering and manufacturing industries, with the former Saab Automobile factory being a key part of its identity. The town is also referred to as "Trollywood" due to its vibrant film industry and the presence of Film i Väst, a major European film production company. Trollhättan is home to the famous Trollhättan Falls, a significant tourist attraction and an engineering marvel due to the town's dam and lock system. The nearby Göta Canal and the surrounding nature reserves offer ample opportunities for outdoor activities like boating and hiking. The town hosts a campus of University West, contributing to its educational and economic landscape. Trollhättan is well-connected by road, rail, and air, making it easily accessible. With a population of around 60,000, it offers a peaceful, family-friendly environment with a high quality of life. Its cultural events, natural beauty, and industrial heritage make it a unique place in Sweden. Despite its industrial roots, Trollhättan has successfully diversified its economy and remains a dynamic town.Bad Habit by Alana S Portero (Ive Read Something #90)Rainierbooks2024-08-18 | Bad Habit by Alana S Portero (I've Read Something #90) Translated from the Spanish by Mara Faye LethemSunset And Jericho - Dave Wakeland #4 (Ive Read Something #89)Rainierbooks2024-08-10 | Sunset And Jericho - Dave Wakeland #4 (I've Read Something #89)

A little bit of the atmosphere on the day of the final between Barcelona and Lyon. The weather was majestic with 26 degrees and sunshine. We had the best teams in the world with a lot of the world's best players. Approximately 47.000 fans had traveled from Barcelona which is 600 km SE of Bilbao. All hotels etc fully booked. Met two American fans from San Francisco, one lady from Scotland and one Argentinean soccer writer who had traveled all the way from Buenos Aires for this I started writing about women's soccer in 2005. Then, we could not imagine what this sport would become. See you in Lisbon and thank you, Bilbao, for being fantastic hosts!Bilbao - A Long Journey from Stockholm to the Basque Country - Getting ThereRainierbooks2024-05-27 | Bilbao - A long journey from Stockholm to the Basque Country - Getting ThereAll The Sinners Bleed by S.A. The plane is a turboprop-powered Dutch Fokker 50 (Fokker went bancrupt in 1996 and that was the last year that this model was built). Swedish PopulAir is the last airline in Europe that flies Fokker 50. They run routes such as Gällivare–Kramfors–Arlanda and Hemavan–Arvidsjaur–Vilhelmina–Lycksele–Arlanda and operate 7 Fokker 50 planes. Outside Europe only Skyward Express in Kenya uses Fokker 50. They operate 5 Fokker 50 and have had three accidents with their airplanes in 2012 and 2014. The Swedish PopulAir was called Amapola until 2023. It acquired its Fokker 50 planes from different sources, the latest from Leading Edge Air Service in the Philippines. Earlier Fokker 50 planes that now run for PopulAir were bought in Mongolia, Spain, Angola, and Indonesia. Why Is Everything So Terrible Now? feat.
