This video has been prompted by several things....I know I have done a similar video in the past, but this was prompted partly by me seeing the adaptation of Project Hail Mary (which also has a book review on my channel too....)
I was also inspired by the discussion that was happening between Richard ( @vintagesf ), Bart ( @bartsbookspace ) and Whitney ( @secretsauceofstorycraft ) over on Richard's channel.
AND there was also Randy Ray recent video about film adaptations that made me want to do another video on this. (@LiterateTexan )
I used a different format than I had done before, and chose to just pick 10 films that have originated in book form and talk about them.
I then chose 2 others that had other origins that I think are interesting adaptations.

So please comment below on what you think of what I say in the video - it's massively motivated by my eagerness to see the comment section come alive! - it's an endless source of conversation I think....
