A pair of 500W shop lights on a stand from about 20 feet, the camera is only out about 10 feet.
Looks like the noise is minimal, I think with the addition of a fill light it should go away altogether.

No adjustments for brightness or contrast on this vid, I did set the white balance to one of the cloudy settings rather than use a white card for a manual setting.

More experiments to follow, but I think this is going to work out ok
