Most people don't think about mobility until something starts to hurt. I think that's backwards.

A few minutes of mobility each day can help you wind down before bed, restore the positions you've lost after a day of sitting, reduce soreness after training, and remind your brain that these are movements worth keeping.

At @TheReadyState, we believe every human should know how to perform basic maintenance on their own body.

Just like you don't wait until you have a mouthful of cavities to start brushing your teeth, your mobility practice shouldn't begin when you're already stiff, sore, or injured.

That's why mobility is one of the eight science-backed habits we'll be teaching at our upcoming Long Game Summit.

If you're tired of piecing your health together one trend at a time, join @julietstarrett and me on September 1: thereadystate.com/long-game-summit

We'll show you the eight habits that have the biggest impact on your health, performance, and longevity… and, more importantly, how they work together as one simple system you can actually stick with for life. 🙌
