We're jumping back into our massive, 469 mod collection: Morrowind: Grand Odyssey (v1.1-beta)
Today we'll be testing out different locations to make sure they are consistent and are free from bugs (scribs not included).
This mod list for MGE/MWSE Morrowind has been lovingly crafted from my years of experience and testing different mod combinations to bring together several of the most beloved mods ever made for Morrowind's original engine to hopefully be a definitive version of the game, as the community experienced it.
Many, if not most mod being created these days are either intended for, or work exclusively with OpenMW. Morrowind Grand Odyssey will not. Several of the mods included will only run on the original engine, with MGE XE. Some of the mods work on both, and you can, in fact launch the list in OpenMW, but all of the new functions and nearly all scripting will not be present. Looks pretty and runs well too if that's all you want, cant guarantee it is stable, I can't guarantee it's stability on the classic engine either, but everything at least "just works". Our massive Morrowind overhaul is in its final stages of review and what better way to test it out than by building a backstory for a TES side-character from a later game?
Today were continuing to build a back story for a fascinating little side character from later in the franchise, Sybille Stentor: Court Mage of Solitude under Jarl Elisef the Fair in Skyrim. We know a few things about her life over 200 years into the future, but nothing from her youth, so it is up to us to give her a history in our own way!
New systems, mechanics, quests, and even entire new lands await us. This mod list for MGE/MWSE Morrowind has been lovingly crafted from years of experience and is what I feel to be a definitive version of the game.
