In December Last Year, I went to Little River and filmed a handful of peak hour trains. Many of these trains power through this small station at 160 km/h, the fastest commercial speed for any passenger train in Australia, on par with the XPT in New South Wales and the Tilt Train in Queensland.
This video features the twice-weekly Overland service to Adelaide which passed this station by chance. It also features a handful of Vlocity and N set trains operating between Warrnambool or Geelong to Melbourne Southern Cross
