This is a 9 Star hunt against a Tempered Uth Duna.
My character is modeled after Susannah Dean from "The Dark Tower."
The Lance is my beloved - the only weapon that truly vibed with me when I started playing Monster Hunter World again back in early 2024. I tried out so many weapons and I just wasn't feeling the game in 2018 when it released, but when I chose the Lance on a whim in 2024? I fell in love, and it continues in Wilds.
The Lance is a highly defensive weapon, allowing you to stay right in a monster's face while your teammates are diving out of the way and running from attacks while you tank and counterattack everything that comes at you. The shield is extremely strong and while the Lance isn't a fancy weapon, it's much improved in Wilds.
I showed off the Shockproof Jewel because I play a lot of multiplayer in this game. My best friend mains the Dual Blades and that jewel saves a lot of headaches when he's spamming attacks right next to me. Everyone should consider wearing it when playing online.
