I thought these were Type B bosses, but was corrected that they are Type A. I show how to make a common downtube cable stop, so that it will fit a Shimano proprietary A style downtube shifter boss. The shape of the A style boss is different and it also takes a M4.5 x .75 threaded screw as opposed to a M5 x .80 screw used on my downtube shifter bosses.
