In this video, we'll demonstrate the sounds that The Wave from MOD® Kits DIY is capable of producing. This effect unit is a tube-driven analog spring reverb that's capable of serving up a wide range of wetness from subtle space to over-the-top psychedelia. The Wave has standard 1/4" jacks in the front for use with your guitar and amp, and it has RCA jacks in the back for use as a line-level effect unit in a studio/recording environment. The Wave is rack mountable using just under 3U of rack space.
The Wave's reverb function can be switched in and out pop-free via the front panel toggle or with a foot switch (purchased separately - see below).
MOD® units are DIY kits that use point-to-point wiring and come with easy-to-follow instructions. Pre-drilled enclosures and all parts are included. All you need to provide are hand tools, a soldering iron, and solder.
