Some Mickey Mouse cartoons were reissued non-theatrically very early on, like this shortened version of The Wayward Canary, scanned from a silent 16mm Kodak print dated 1934. The opening keeps the exploding Mickey head, then cuts to a version of the late-1933 Mickey and Minnie card omitting Joseph M. Schenck and United Artists. Then there’s another cut where you can actually see a few frames of the original 1932 titles before the fade on the cartoon's title. I’ve added sound from the Treasures dvd to make it more enjoyable.
