Setting the Record Straight on the North Tower Antenna: David Chandler and Jonathan Cole, PE International Center for 9/11 Justice 2025-04-05 | Seventeen years after he forced NIST to backtrack on its false claim that Building 7 did not come down in free fall, retired physics teacher David Chandler has produced yet another measurement that blows the NIST World Trade Center investigation out of the water.This time around, Chandler has taken aim at NIST’s unproven assertion that the vertical drop of the North Tower’s antenna, which began a half-second prior to the downward motion of the building, was merely an illusion caused by the top of the building along with the antenna tipping southward as the exterior columns on the south face allegedly gave way before the rest of the structure.In his recent paper in the Journal of 9/11 Studies (ic911.org/journal/articles/the-descent-and-tilting-of-the-north-tower-antenna), Chandler proves that the antenna did indeed experience a vertical drop prior to any significant tipping, which must have been caused by the simultaneous failure of all of the core columns prior to the failure of any exterior columns. This finding invalidates NIST’s scenario that the collapse of the North Tower initiated along its south face. One week later Langemann published a video of the interview. After two days it has amassed more than 100,000 views.Because the interview has no English subtitles, the Center has republished a portion of it with English subtitles on our X page; this video now has more than 90,000 views. If Langemann grants us permission, we will republish the entire interview with English subtitles.An unusually credible voiceRuppert’s background makes him an unusually credible voice when it comes to assessing that the Twin Towers were demolished.Not only did he earn a doctorate in structural engineering, but prior to that he received demolition training at the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief and then went on to perform several demolitions on his own.According to Ruppert, he then became, through his PhD work, one of the few people in the world to have created standards for calculating the effects of explosions on structures.Is Ruppert’s decision to speak out yet another sign that the tide is starting to turn? Massive corruption at ASCE Aids the 9/11 Cover-up: Debrief on a Five-Year Ethics Case International Center for 9/11 Justice 2023-08-25 | For more than a decade, Richard Johns and Tony Szamboti battled to have their paper published in the ASCE’s Journal of Engineering Mechanics.Their paper was a direct response to and critique of an earlier paper the journal had published on the Twin Towers’ destruction. Nevertheless, the editors — both of whom had major conflicts of interest in relation to the paper being critiqued — rejected Johns and Szamboti’s paper as “out of scope.”Now, nearly five years after Johns and Szamboti filed an ethics complaint against the journal’s editors, the ASCE’s Executive Committee has voted unanimously to dismiss their complaint.Johns and Szamboti, ASCE members Scott Grainger and Seth McVey, and IC911 Executive Director Ted Walter got together on August 18, 2023, to talk about the five-year ethics case.
