LmocinemodYeah, first cover! WOOHOO! It... sucks! (ihavenoideawhatimdoingsomeonepleasehelpme)
Yesterday (July 29, 2018) was Rinne Yui's 3rd birthday, so I figured I'd release this cover then. ...Which meant I had to scramble to get it done, leaving me with only a couple hours to work on a video for it. And guess what? I can't make a video that fast. :P But hey, best birthday present ever, right? Getting... uninstalled? (...It's the thought that counts?)
Oh yeah, almost forgot- [No you didn't, you wrote this description out hours beforehand, you filthy-] *AHEM* I almost forgot: You're probably wondering why this cover isn't titled "The Disappearance of Rinne Yui." The answer is actually surprisingly simple:

TV Static: P Maxwell ( youtube.com/watch?v=DMxOk3AIAVU )【MIDI Conversion】 Highly Responsive to Prayers OST 【Crossfade】 + Program DLLmocinemod2020-10-22 | PLEASE READ!
The MIDI files shown in this video were converted from MDT to MIDI by a program, which I have written in Python. Both the source code and the Windows EXE can be downloaded from here: github.com/Lmocinemod/MDTParsingTools/releases/tag/v1.0.0
The program takes MDRV2 MDT binaries as input, and is capable of performing the following tasks: -Decompiling to MD2 (MDRV2 MML) -Exporting FM instruments in OPM format -Converting to MIDI -Using exported OPM instruments for MIDI instrument changes
The MDT files used in HRtP are not included in the download.
By using exported OPM data with the VOPM virtual synth, the original tracks can be replicated very closely.
If you choose not to export OPM data, the program also contains a set of instrument recommendations for the music tracks from HRtP. However, it is also possible to convert all instrument changes to Grand Piano, allowing for easier production of remixes.
Decompiled MD2 files can be recompiled back into binaries using MCOMP.COM (included with MDRV2), and will produce the same sound as the original files.
The program's README file includes a list of known limitations. Some (not all) of these limitations are as follows: -Portamento may decompile incorrectly for SSG channels. -Binary files containing ADPCM data are not supported. -Portamento speed does not vary based on length. -LFO control events contain inaccurate values. -Some FM channels play notes that are lower than expected.

I had originally intended to upload this cover on November 1st, which was the 5th anniversary of this song's release. Unfortunately, real life happened, and the upload was delayed. A lot. As you can probably tell.
I think I'm done setting release dates for my covers. They just make me rush to finish in the last 2 weeks, which makes the final product worse. :/
But regardless, I'd like to thank all of you for taking the time out of your day to listen to a cover made by a complete novice like me. I can only hope you enjoy it.
Special thanks to Tanjiro for helping me with the mix! He's a lot better at this stuff than I am, so go check him out: youtube.com/user/qmalipz

I'm still fairly new to composing, so I'm actually pretty happy with how this turned out. (Since, you know, I was effectively deaf while writing this and all.)
