When you're part of the Sierra Club you are part of the greater good. You can get involved with your local chapter, sign petitions on climate issues you care about or send in comments to inform officials of the impact their decisions will make on your community.
Or you can join in a service outing with someone as dedicated and knowledgable as Jerry Balch. Jerry has been opting outside as a Sierra Club service trip leader for over 25 years. He loves giving back to his local parks in New York City to help maintain areas for people to explore and enjoy nature right in their backyards. He also enjoys meeting the other Sierra Club volunteers!
