The MBTA also uses ADtranz 1407 traction motors with IGBT control, similar to the old BART Legacy Fleet's A2 and B2 cars. And as a bonus, the MBTA Type 7 cars have Westinghouse Electric chopper control and model 1463 traction motors, the same model (and originally developed for) BART's A/B cars, and later used on the C1/C2 cars.
