The key addition to the build is Soulthirst & the way Soulthirst works is simple: - you press your longest duration flask first - you kill mobs - & you gain souls
Each soul gives 5% attack speed, 5% cast speed & 1% increased character size
Furthermore, when your flasks run out you lose your souls - At this point you are ideally done the map -- but, getting to a "1 Flask" map clear takes a precise setup -- Typically, a lot of flask duration & character mobility - In most cases when starting out a "2 Flask" clear or even a "3 Flask" clear will be common
In 3.20 many jewels have been removed: - Survival Instincts: which provides 50% increased Flask Effect Duration - Hazardous Research: for Nova Spark - Poacher's Aim: for Pierce & - Mantra of Flames: for a lot of damage
I have retested this build in Standard without the previously mentioned jewels and it works just fine. - You do have to aim your sparks a little bit which I did not find to be an issue -- I was still able to to achieve desired XPH goals - I also noticed when you added a source of mob explosion & your single spark damage was high enough, the amount of aiming required was significantly reduced
The last thing I want to note is: - This character was previously optimized for group play, - So there are a couple of things to still work out, and the two most important to solve are: - Mana & Monster Resist Penetration - For Mana, I quickly swapped Discipline out for Clarity & - For Monster Resist Penetration, I did not make any significant changes but I will most likely run some sort of Dual Curse setup on league start -- this is mostly so I can kill map & pinnacle bosses

A: I want to emphasize we had no intentions of playing the length we did..this was poor time management on our end -- it's better to get good sleep after that 16-18h session.
But to answer your question: a) get a good nights sleep the night / week before b) minimize distraction c) know what you're going to do d) if you're a coffee drinker, try tea or no caffeine for a couple of days beforehand e) don't be bored.
The above plus the obvious things like hydrate well, exercise etc. You can most likely increase your focus and get more done in those 16-18hours.
Youtube is having issue with HD processing for longer cuts..will have to look into smaller sections if the full VOD is desirable. Please let me know if this is the case.

The best use I found for Marohi Erqi + Sunder is general T16 juiced mapping with Impaler for clear and Stun for Boss Safety. Increasing damage is desirable. The next best usage for Marohi Erqi might be a Bleed Gladiator (untested).

Might continue this run and see if I can solve single target with some investment, gear and levels. Deaths were definitely avoidable, mostly sloppy play on my part.
Last league we had Sentinel to fix XP, acquire currency and obtain items. This league we have nothing? It's essentially Standard.
With a bit more practice, I believe I can do sub 3h to 3h30 with non-meta skills consistently.

But since we're Champion, survivability was a non-issue even with sub 3K HP; spell supression, molten shell, armour, life pots, it's pretty good.

However, hidden DPS increases on Slayer are a) 5 extra strike range & b) no culling gem required. On this setup, we can swap culling to Ancestral Warchief and have ~10 Mil DPS with Totems up (counting Slayer Cull).
A little bit more defence is desirable to mitigate self-damage but it's not too big of a concern and can be mitigated with alternate tree pathing (such as swapping IAS nodes for INC DMG nodes or pursuing maximum leech rate).

Speccing Undeniable and pursuing an Accuracy Stacking strategy is generally one of the only and better DPS options on Boneshatter Jugg.
If one is comfortable with dropping life (not too bad with Jugg mitigation) -- accuracy stacking synergizes quite well with Precise Technique in early game scenarios. This can be further scaled in late game scenarios with strong gear where Jugg may potentially surpass other ascendancies (mostly due to Unbreakable allowing large amounts of Attack Speed scaling that other classes may not have access too.)

The reason being: - DPS windows are short, but high trauma stacks are required for strong damage - Thus we need high APS to ramp up Trauma stacks ASAP - If we don't meet minimum DPS thresholds, Uber Sirus's floor is lava enrage mechanic, the degen meteors, will cover the majority of the arena, leading to a very difficult fight.
Champion's Fortitude means the Fortify Gem is not required. This save a couple skills points and allows us to use Behead for big strike range. Very useful in the last phase.
First to Strike, Last to Fall was also very strong. - You can strategically proc it on purpose for burst damage scenarios (start of the last phase is an excellent spot). - You can use it to help tank the Meteor - You can save the proc for Die Beams or Thrill of the Void

Two Questions: What are Basic Currency Items & Are there any maps that cannot be Favoured?
"Basic currency items are those that have no specific drop restrictions such as: which areas or monsters they can drop from."
While we can expect to mostly drop low tier currencies such as alterations, transmutes or whetstones. There's a chance to find chaos orbs, divines and if you're feeling lucky, exalted orbs too.
What's the cost for this small trickle of income?
The cost is that Non-Favoured maps also include: - Unique Maps - Shaper Guardian Maps or - Synthesis Maps
This means your Cortex drop might turn into a couple of whetstones or some alterations, maybe a chaos or two.
So, when is this Singular Focus useful?
Synthesis Maps can drop in Tier 11 or higher with Vivid Memories allocated while Shaper Conqueror Maps generally drop in Tier 14 or higher maps and Unique Maps may be deemed unnecessary after completion bonus.
This rules out farming T11+ content and leaves one optimal use case scenario: - Any situation where you are running Tier 10 or under maps as fast as possible to encounter as many league mechanics as possible, such as essences or harvest OR - You're also target farming a divination card and - You no longer need Unique map drops
Most likely I won't be taking Singular Focus in my late game farming, unless I'm running a very particular setup.

The leech was very noticeable and helped tank many scary abilities.
Note: in a longer run I would invest 2 plus minutes in Act 4 and 5 respectively and aim for L40+ Kitava Kill.

Only had points for 1 lightning mastery, started with: "Non-Projectile Chaining Lightning Skills Chain +1 times". Then switched to: "Lightning Damage with Non-Critical Strikes is Lucky" for Kitava.
I suspect a Leap Slam variant, with sceptres and some practice, would be faster. This run also completes my goal of A5 100% under 1h35m deathless on all 7 classes. Not sure what run is next, guess its a surprise :).

We beat our Shadow Routing run by 5 minutes without "increased Cooldown Recovery Rate of Movement Skills" by focusing on Flame Dash usage instead of Flame Dash + Smoke Mine.
As expected, for big early game lightning damage, we had: "Non-Projectile Chaining Lightning Skills Chain +1 times" & "Lightning Damage with Non-Critical Strikes is Lucky"
#PathofExile #Archnemesis #SiegeOfTheAtlas1:47:22 A5 100% Cobra Lash Viper Strike Assassin [3.17 PoE]havoc6162022-04-28 | Sometimes you gotta meme and at first glance, Cobra Lash & Viper Strike on Assassin are significantly slower than our stronger well practiced skills. However, 3 months ago I was getting the same ~1h40m Act 5 100% times on all my runs; there might be potential here given some practice and theorycraft.
One of the main challenges to solve is the AoE Clear: I could never really figure out the appropriate gems links for Cobra Lash; often swapping between volley & onslaught (due to no GGG links early on). However, in single target scenarios with multiple enemies, Cobra Lash (with volley), seemed to outshine Viper strike which was great to see.
Viper Strike single target was generally very strong the whole run, the challenge is applying the damage due to no nearby strike range on the tree. I imagine an endgame Viper Striker with a ton of strike range could be quite fun.
Expect some caster runs next: Lightning Shadow Variants & Fire Trap Shadow.
#PathofExile #Archnemesis #SiegeOfTheAtlas1:29:43 A5 100% Poison Spectral Helix Assassin [3.17 PoE]havoc6162022-04-27 | Claws, Poison, Spectral Helix is a strong combo (surprise!). Favourite part about this run is the recovery, huge life gain on hit allows us to facetank a lot of mechanics as long as our health pool is large enough. Other favourites are Plague Bearer combined with an ultra fast whirling blades for big zoom while still killing.
Cobra Lash & Viper Strike also proved to be a strong early game combo, it was very satisfying proccing Onslaught without needing Volley or LMP on Cibra Lash; this is due to it's built in projectile mechanic (chain).
I suspect Trickster Helix may be faster, expect it next.

Big single target, easy onslaught uptime and strong rage generation (despite not being a melee skill) justifies Helix as a go to leveling choice for new characters. I'm not 100% convinced on the duelist mule in a speedrun context but in a leaguestart context I would most likely do it. The main issue with Helix is most mobs die behind you which means loot drops behind you. This can be mitigated with a good filter but that still means you're backtracking (not good!). I'll be attempting a couple Duelist & Scion Helix runs next for comparison before moving onto casters.
