It's not if we can do it - it's all about if we should do it now! Building software opens up endless possibilities for improving our customer's life. But how to decide which one should be our focus? With so many good ideas, the work rapidly piles up in long queues. It's not unusual ending up delivering the results to customers after months of waiting. Saying "not now" to certain features is a crucial ingredient for success, but only a small percentage of companies apply solid principles to their decisions.
Let's learn how to prioritize the work according to the value delivered and the cost of delay.
With this approach, we can determine the impact of time on value, and make decisions on an economic, rational basis.
