For the beginning I found long jumping around the first flash of the clock kept good running speed. The old WR did not use camera changes. I find they are helpful for me, but they aren't needed mostly. The old route had less long jumps during this (0:34) purple coin section and opted for tighter lines instead. Long jumps are harder but maybe slightly more optimal.
Since I got a patch of coins earlier, I could do this (0:58) long jump chain.
I failed to keep running speed during this chain. In fact, I lost running speed a fair bit in this run.
One run that was on better pace than this missed the star, so these last 2 long jumps now drift down.
Overall, a very movement heavy and punishing star. Fun when you become schmoove man though.
