Super Mario 64 has a ton of levels that have become absolutely iconic for not just the Mario series but gaming as a whole. Bob-omb Battlefield and Whomps fortress are two particularly strong highlights, but this game also has plenty of stages that are absolutely awful. Rainbow Ride and Dire Dire Docks are two terrible stages that quickly come to mind. But lost in the discussion for the best and worst stages are those that find themselves in the middle. So today, I thought it would be fun to take a look at Tall Tall Mountain for this episode of Level By Level. That’s because it is VERY mediocre.
