U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, conduct mortar drills with the M224 60mm mortar at range 106, as part of Service Level Training Exercise 3-26 (SLTE 3-26) at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California. SLTE is designed to be a challenging, realistic training environment that produces combat-ready forces capable of operating as an integrated Marine Air Ground Task Force.
