…but we had just two weeks to build 12 matching custom pieces before the deadline hit.
If you’ve followed this channel for any length of time, you already know that’s not how we normally operate. We build one-off projects. Functional art. Weird ideas that somehow work. But this time we had to figure out how to build the same thing over and over again—and do it without losing our minds.
That meant CNC-cutting hundreds of parts, fixing mistakes in real time, rethinking our assembly process, battling my old nemesis Bondo, and pouring four different metallic epoxy finishes across a series of custom countertops.

• How wrapping plywood edges saved hours of finishing work
• CNC batch-production workflow and efficiency tricks
• A modified Bondo technique that made life easier

What started as a television project quickly became a test of workflow, consistency, and figuring out how to scale what we do without sacrificing quality.
