Let's talk about this AI image that Trump posted on Truth Social a little while ago. And of course, it's about himself, but the background reminded me more of a dystopian future under Trump as we see the city almost looking destroyed and the American flag being distorted in some way. More than anything else, Trump looks threatening in this picture.
Of course, it's just an AI image that either Trump or perhaps Natalie Harp thought lauded him in some way and thus posted on Truth Social, but that surreal quality to it adds to a general uneasiness if you look at it long enough. In a very real sense, this AI image is a representation or revealing of where we are headed as a country. There is this looming figure in the foreground and behind him appears to be destruction.
Now, I know that many of you will disagree with me, but I do have a strong feeling that AI can often tap into something darker, something that we don't quite understand. But often times the images that it produces are unsettling. And I think this is another example. So, after looking at the image for a minute or two, it occurred to me that this is not really about making America great again, despite what is written on Trump's hat. I decided to make a change to what's written on Trump's hat to make it more in line with the overall impression that one would get from looking at this picture.
You see, rather than make America great again, this image is all about make Babylon great again because that is precisely what Trump is doing on so many levels. In fact, those of us who see the kind of man he is are able to recognize these kind of images as revealing his true motive. And that motive is make Babylon great again. ♦
