Why did those videos win?
– Feel free to disagree with me, find your own favourites in the playlist and share your opinion with us in the comment section. It wasn't an easy decision to make for any of the top five contestants, trust me. Story was the most important factor of the rating. Please note that some entries in the playlist did not comply with the rules of this year's contest. They were either too long, didn't show a syringe or have been worked on for a much much longer time than just May 2021. Still I decided to leave those clips in the playlist for your enjoyment, since they are cool. I will explain more about my decision making process in the analysis stream.

Why did you put console creators at a disadvantage?
– I realize that the special rule with the syringe was hard on console users, but due to lack of mods the console users will always be at a loss. But out of the 25 entries, only two were from PS4.

Will there be another Machinimay in 2022?
– Yes, I am very optimistic that I'll repeat this fun contest again, possibly with some different rules that allow more people to enter the contest.
