Quick Tip: Unfiltered Audio ZIP Expand mode Synthetic_Future 2024-09-10 | Even though I bought ZIP before being involved with Unfiltered Audio it only seems fair to mention my involvement with the brand-------Here's a quick tip that I use a lot when I need to manage quite sounds and fades. Where technically some gates have setting for this sort of thing as well I find it more easy to dial this in with ZIP due to the interface and the way it reacts to sounds crossing below the threshold. This is always my go-to tool for gating snare (even though it's not a gate) and for taking care of lingering reverb.

I did a little experiment (and other titles to generate reach) Synthetic_Future 2024-05-19 | So I kinda sorta involuntarily conducted an experiment on my viewers and the results are in. Within 2 days it's pretty clear that polarizing your content is beneficial for reach. Which is sad. Because I like to approach things in a more objective and neutral way. I wanted to keep this going for a couple more videos but I also don't want to flood my channel with content I don't personally endorse. So it's time to end it ;)

Zoom H6 Essential - Some unconventional test Synthetic_Future 2024-05-05 | **ignore the banner at 8 minutes 28 seconds, I forgot to remove it and don't feel like rendering the entire video again**I'm not a big "found sound" recording person. I don't think you'll see me wandering in the streets with a recorder and a blimp any day soon. But having a nice recorder is useful never the less. It allows you to more flexibly record audio even when there's no PC around. And the H6 Essential offers quite a lot in recording capacity. 4 XLR/Jack inputs + the on device mics can record at the same time in 32bit 96 kHz mode. And with the separately sold EXH-6e you can bump this to 6 tracks of whatever you like.My personal use case is a bit weird. I want to be able to move the recordings from the attic downstairs without having to mess with a NAS or network transfers or any of that stuff. I just want to hit record on a device, hit record on my camera and when done take 2 cards downstairs and start editing. Unfiltered Audio - Battalion Synthetic_Future 2024-04-16 | What happens when you take UA's amazing LION synth and turn it into a drum computer?You get Battalion.
