My next project is to work on the area beneath the septic tank and cultivate this with native bush tucker.
Night and Day 5 of Chanukah 5781!
The next morning we did some Chanukah inspired art, and Mummy lost her mind a little from all the paint (not shown in the video, I lowered the sound for you. :-P ), and we did some dreidel playing as well. Chaya loves the chocolate coins it seems!

My goals for Av are to really be IN the 9 days and feel all the feelings and connect with Am Israel in this way. Also to explore my personal chasm between my body & neshama.
My other goal is to prioritise showing my husband a bit of extra love this month with some small acts of kindness and appreciation. :)

FAQ:
Q: What religion are you converting from and how did you decide to convert to Judaism?
A: My husband and I were raised in Christian homes. We began to question the traditions we were raised with (2008) not long after we were married and then took further steps to raise our children with an awareness of Judaism and it’s significance when our first son was born (2012). It wasn’t until our youngest was born (2016) that we started to understand what it meant to be a Noahide, and in 2017 we moved to a new city close to a synagogue and in 2018 we started our official conversion to Orthodox Judaism.
Q: When do you expect to finish your conversion?A: We started lessons in June 2018, so we expect to finish towards the end of 2019, perhaps even 2020 if there’s things we’re really stuck on!

I have many friends who have either through choice or necessity breastfed, bottle fed, mix fed, and also done all those things for huge variations in time. As you will see from my video, even my own experiences and lengths of time breastfeeding each child were really different and unique. I am super supportive of mothers feeding their babies however they choose - choice is a powerful thing! I hope that everyone who watches this can be supportive of me and my journey with breastfeeding as well. :)
