(NEW TIER LIST UPD 0.5)In this video I talk about a new "Shadow Nerf" to one of the most popular meta units in Anime Expeditions, Cursed Student, or Yuta. This nerf might not be intentional from the developers, but pretty much they extended the cooldown of Yuta's Mimicry when 2 placements of Yuta try to copy the same unit's attack. This nerf didn't change the meta too much, but I also did a lot more testing with Kenpachi, Dark Mage, and Megumi. Overall I decided to rework the tier list I made a couple days ago with update 0.5. Their most recent JJK update just dropped and I honestly thought it was pretty good, but there were definitely a couple things I would change. I also wanted to talk about how it was now mentioned by the Boss on a maintenance podcast that the game has been in a deficit for a while, and how the community "cash grab" bandwagons may be too critical. There were also some other complaints I heard about the new state of World 2, and frankly I think some of the criticism of the game is just wrong. It seems recently the ATD community has been really driven by hate, and I think a lot of people probably went into ALS' re-release with a hater mindset and drew some false conclusions. Radinal 2026-08-18 | #animevanguards I Spent 24 Hours Getting the *BEST TEAM* in Anime Vanguards...In this video I come back to Anime Vanguards in the new 14.5 patch, after missing quite a few of the newest updates. I decided to spend 24 hours grinding the game to fully catch up and make the "BEST TEAM" according to the official tier list. I ended up getting quite a few of the new vanguard familiars (Goku/Vegito, Esdeath, and Goblin Killer), but also grinded for some of the new best top meta units in the game (Apathetic Savior, and Rebel Fighter). A lot of my time was spent grinding the Persona dungeons and figuring out the demon familiars, but I also grinded multiple worldline floor 50s for this video. In the end I showcased everyone except Esdeath, who I stopped using in the middle of the video because apparently she's not meta. (Update 1.0 Patch)In this video I show off a crazy combo between Trunks (The Drink) and Doflamingo (String Demon). If you build these 2 units properly they easily deal some of the highest DPS in the entire game. I don't really think this combo is the best team in the game though, as Doflamingo and Trunks do have the drawback of only being circle AOE, which ends up being pretty important in my real gamemode test in the later part of the video. Pretty much Doflamingo's follow-up damage from his "String Sync" passive will count as damage towards Itachi's "Illusion Mark". If you run Forsaken Itachi with crit build and a full damage build Doflamingo, Illusion marks start critting with CRAZY DPS. Overall I think this combo actually has a lot of potential, even as someone who never really liked using Itachi. But right now there's an interaction with rare units that lets Gremmy spawn tons of clones bypassing his usual limit of 3, so this team is incredibly strong right now and I showcased it in various different new gamemodes that feature some of the hardest content yet.
