I promise never, never ever, never ever EVER to ever again churn out something this diabolical and call it a video.
It's both an audition and a dedication; but I feel so bad. It looks so quickly done, when it's not. ;_;
I hate this video.

ANYWAY.
Quick synopsis;
Cloud and Stella are Namine and Rikku's parents. Zack is Cloud's best friend, who died while Cloud was still growing up, and "Shotgun", who I called Skye (don't know his real name... have they even released it yet?) is Cloud's brother. Pretend Tidus and Shuyin are Shotgun/Skye.
Basically follow the lyrics. Stella isn't there for any of them (it was supposed to be her at the start, apologising to Cloud via the phone. xDD It's Namine's voice from Re;Com, deepened a little.) and Cloud and Rikku are never around to look after Namine (pretend she's like 8, or 10, somewhere before 14. C'mon, she looks it.)
Cloud is trying to protect Namine from having to see anything that might hurt her, like how he was scarred from losing Zack, but he's not there enough to stop her seeing everything.
Stella crops up on the news, and Cloud runs in just in time to turn it off, already knowing why. After all, he had to send her body to the lifestream after her murder...
He tries to keep it a secret from both the girls, but while he's gone again, their uncle comes to look after them, and is shot right in front of Namine.
Soooo... Big emo finish, Cloud returns home, not knowing Namine SAW Skye/Shotgun die, and tries to cheer her up.
But... Namine knows everything. She was old enough to guess why Cloud was always so upset, why Rikku was always gone with her boyfriend.
So, um, yeah. Longer version comin soon.

Shipping Wars final round and stuff, I guess. Way within the limits- worryingly shorter than everyone elses so far this round, guess I kind of copped out a little.
Cut of the song is deliberately abrupt- it ends in the middle of the line because something awful happens to them, things get cut short.
I kind of tried to show a little of how I thought their relationship dynamic would work (Zacks cheery personality contrasting with Nocts shy, a little-bit-sarky one) before quickly descending into angst. Ended up going for a sort of basic Zack is a soldier in Nocts army plot that seems to be a cliche whenever Zacks paired with a character whos supposedly royalty/of a higher class.
And uh the happily ever after would probably be neither of them ending up dead and escaping whatever horrible situation I put them in to go live somewhere secluded in the country and so on. Boring, I know.")

Sort of a rushed, simple project. As usual.
Its just, my SYTYCV entry is only 8 seconds long at the moment... and I have less than a week. D:
So I took a break (from my eight second project, I know...) and made this. Since I was leaning so heavily on effects for SYTYCV, I completely simplified this to the point where Ive only used two effects; (and the masking is v. fast) the glow effect, and a tiny weeny little bit of pancropping and masking. But not much.
I like this style. So whatever. xD
You know the funny thing, though? I actually really like Xion now that I know shes not some cheap copy of Kairi for Riku. xDDD I think shes pretty cute and tragic, actually. T-T
And Roxion/Xioxas is adorable, and despite trying to hide it Im a serious canon sucker. Although I still love Clack and Rikora and stuff like that. And obviously hate Cloti and Neyrie. xD
Although to be fair, I dont mind watching other peoples amazing videos with those couples. Just cause I seriously dont like a pairing doesnt mean I cant appreiciate a fantastic video.
...And, I might just choke before I finish this sentence, but...

Its Blues birthday! What do you know! I actually edited something public for it this year!
After some time spent tormenting her with Hadestown angst, I resisted the urge to edit one of the tragic songs (which was VERY big of me, its low hanging fruit).
But weve both fallen into a Hadestown hole lately! Its an adaptation of the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, and it SLAPS. Like the whole cast recording is brilliant.
So here Zack is Orpheus (because himbo energy), Leanne is Eurydice, Auron is Hermes (who looks after Orpheus as his charge) - and the brief glimpses of Regis and Agni are Hades and Persephone.

So youre like. The ultimate friend. You bring so much happiness into my life and youve put up with me talking your ear off for nearly every day of the 10+ years weve known each other. So much masking. So so much bad masking. T-T
I havent got the hang of moving masking yet... STILL.
So some of this sucks, where I get desperate and turn to the chroma keyer to neaten up my crappy masking.
Ehheh.
Anyway...
Since I got Vegas Pro, I was thinking about remaking my last (and, um, only xD) Yuna/Zack video, which was my last video of 2008...
But thatd be boring. And I decided it was fairly pretty to begin with, and Id only ruin it with a remake...
And so, this was born.
Well, at the moment the actual video is only ten seconds of random dying scenes. And I used them here in the trailer. xDDD
The actual video might be a while, so I decided against a preview, no matter how proud I might be of some of the masking in the video xD, and made a trail instead.
FYI, Cloud is one of four summons who are vital for the plot and ending... =P
I think the others are gonna end up being Noctis (def.) Tidus/Shuyin (maybe) and Sora/Roxas/Riku. (Maybe.... I might use one as the third summon, too.)
Im writing the story now. xD Theres a specific reason Im using four boys/men/whatevers, too. =D Its an old rhyme, and I think it MIGHT be vaguely religious... but I dont listen in RE (or any other lesson for that matter) so I cant really be certain.

First off first off first off.
I dont wanna be first. DD: But I also dont want someone to steal Riku.
So, sorry to anybody who was planning on using Riku... But I WAS gonna use Cloud, Sora or Yuna at first, but I thought theyd be more popular... :/ So I didnt.
I wasnt sure how to go about starting this, to he honest. xDDD Its most likely wrong.
The nub and gist of the story, however, is already in the description for the prolouge. So I built off of it and made up some relationships and such. The idea was that Riku sorta got the psychic power from nowhere, as neither his parents or his older brother Zexion (they look alike! Dont judge me! D:) had any kind of abilities. (Well, yeah, Zexions ability in the KH series is illusion, which I didnt realise at first, so Riku has that ability, and Zexion doesnt, okay? xD) So they hid him away, pretending he was normal, even to the extent as to when the hunters came to visit, trying to convince the boys to come with them, when Zexion joined them, so did Riku, hoping to carry on hiding. In the end, Zexion betrayed him and tried to capture him, not succeeding but forcing Riku to live a life on the run in the end.
That all made him grow very very bitter. xD So hes gonna be the angry angsty one with a bit of a temper, the one who has a tendency to resort to violence, without really caring or thinking too hard. Oh, and also, Riku believes that, because he thinks of himself as a monster, and outcast, mainly because the hunters treat him as such, hell never be able to face his parents again, especially since he and his bro turned on each other. He gets the message from Namine whilst on the run after trying to murder one of the hunters (hence why he appeared to Roxas as Heartless!Ansem... illusion, get it? xD) and decides to find out what the other psychics are like... Even though he swears he doesnt care about anything anymore, maybe... a tiny little part of him really just wants to not be alone anymore...
Sometimes people put up walls just to see who cares enough to tear them down.
Lovely happy, charming little story there. =D
The song is the very very very beautiful acoustic version of The Kill by 30 Seconds To Mars. Cut and editted by me, of course; like it could ever be that short. xDDD

And also how I miss out a huge chunk of the song because Im not sure whether to use another Yunie dance clip or balance it out with Tidus. And I cant find many maskable actiony shots of him. -fails, whilst pointing toward the end-
Basically just a test of effects I dont normally use (making certain things black and white, flashy masked colours, etcetera) with a style of song I usually dont even go near with a bargepole. Not sure whether or not this denotes as a preview; I cant bear masking so much, it really hurts my wrist and it doesnt even look good in the end. D:
I dont know who the song is by, or why it was on my computers hard drive under the name of SOKAI 8DDDDDDDD when it clearly doesnt have anything to do with the damned pairing. I thought it might have been voices or something when I opened it. ^^;;")
