It is for my AWD Electric GOKART!Today I was able to disassemble a G35 VLSD and make a new main gear from a D50B40 sprocket and turn the original leaf input shaft down to fit a modified D50B20 sprocket. Coding AutoStart & Drive By Wire On A Carburetor: Part 4 Mechanceism 2025-02-14 | If you want push button start added to your carbureted engine, drive by wire, or a handful of other features, then here's some basic code that can make that happen!I bought this used 125cc engine off of marketplace for a planned project. However, it is in need of repair. So, I took it all apart and since it's fairly simple, I rewired it in one night. After giving it some gas, it started right up. I also bought a 3kw electric motor from amazon. My plan is to wire up the electric motor to the transmission sensor and to run them together. But, first I need to figure out how to make the carburetor electronically controlled since an efi kit would be overkill. In the last video I digitized the carb. In this video I read the output pulse to the coil for the sparkplug to figure out the rpm. Using this information I can start the starter and have the starter automatically cut off when the engine is running. I made a video getting the Zombieverter ready as well as a video reassembling and testing the high voltage battery. I started by using a Polaris RZR 170 steering box but ended up switching it out for a 2004 Club car Precedent steering rack. Testing My 2015 Nissan Leaf High Voltage Battery: Venn Visceral Part 6 Mechanceism 2024-12-30 | This is a 2015 Gen 2 Nissan Leaf 24kwh battery pack. It is for my AWD Electric GOKART! After having the battery separated into its packs a while ago so I could 3d scan them, it is time to put them back into the original battery box to do some testing. To make sure that the battery is safe to use, all the cells need to be very close in voltage to each other. Instead of measuring each cell individually, we can use an off the shelf bluetooth obd2 adaptor with the app LeafSpy Pro and interrogate the built-in Leaf BMS. This is much easier, faster, and safer than manually measuring cells. So, I took it all apart and since it's fairly simple, I rewired it in one night. After giving it some gas, it started right up. I also bought a 3kw electric motor from amazon. My plan is to wire up the electric motor to the transmission sensor and to run them together. But, first I need to figure out how to make the carburetor electronically controlled since an efi kit would be overkill. digitizing the carb is part of the first steps to getting the electric motor to work with similar signals to the gas engine. Fixing Polaris Sportsman 500 Shocks: Venn Venture Part 6 Mechanceism 2024-09-30 | Before Mounting the Polaris Sportsman 500 front shocks on the Venn Venture, they are in need of a good cleaning. Filled with mud and grass, the bearings are sludged up. Additionally, on the outside the amount of dried dirt and clay is so stuck on that even a pressure washer couldn't get it off. After many many hours of using a wire brush, I finally get a wire wheel out and get is nice and aluminum silver again. Repainting the rusted cast iron hubs too make it look a few decades newer. Going down the checklist of things that need to get done, the locations of the front suspension is in need to be stabilized. This means that since the front shocks are mounted to to motorcycle cage, the motor mounts of the cage needs to be attached the four wheeler frame. Today that is what we do. Mechanceism Release Trailer: Spring 24 Mechanceism 2024-05-20 | I've been recording videos for over a year and I've finally gotten around to something that I'm ready to send out for everyone to see.As of the moment there are about 10 concurrent projects. However, I have edited the content in order of each project. Since only the trailer and first video has been released, we have yet to see if this is the upload strategy. Aka if people want a bit more diversity of projects or full speed ahead of 1 project at a time I'll make adjustments to what and when stuff is released.2 projects are fully edited and are pending to upload. I aim to stay on the cheaper side so I can be able to afford more projects, but sometimes they end up costing more than I thought. Patreon and the like help me be able to continue these projects at a faster rate. The main reason for projects slowing down is lack of funding, but that's just how it goes.
