Spy x Family but Better Carrot 2023-12-11 | First time I've had to battle the copyright and defeated it after 7 minutes frfr. Deep Rock Galactic: A Game About Dwarves Carrot 2023-07-15 | A video about DRG as promised. It was quite interesting to make because it was something new. I tried to get a mix of informational and brief, so there was so much stuff I cut. For example, I didn't talk about like deep dives, the depth of customizations, skills and perks, anomalies and mutations, etc. I did attempt to make it as accurate as I can, but I only really have a lot of experience on Scout after all lol. The other classes I gave info using my experience and some research. That said, correct me if I'm wrong anywhere. Also, for people wondering if I will make an "everything you need to know about Deep Rock Galactic" video like I did with Payday 2, no, I will not be doing that. The Lost Build | Bi-Weekly Build Carrot 2023-02-11 | Frankly a terrible build, but hey, tis what tis. I don't really remember what made me delete the guide, but I do remember the only comment I got on the guide. It was something like "this build is terrible and you can delete my comment like you did everyone else who criticized it :)". That said, I didn't delete the guide because of that lol, stuff like that has never reached me, but maybe take it as a lesson that if that guy just corrected the build instead of saying that, maybe this build wouldn't be lost to time. I was thinking about the music for this video and I figured I should check up on Xomu. I missed a couple song releases over time, and gah dam, they're masterpieces. The beginning took forever since I had only new players in the lobby and trying to babysit them and the boxes just wasn't working. I don't really like the single because of how ugly the drum mag is, but I'm 100% going to be messing around with the akimbo in future builds. The tombstone slugs are goofy and I don't like them. What is the point of nerfing DB and then adding something even stronger? Also, the tombstone slugs are the only ammo type that isn't capitalized in the weapon mod menu lol, someone might want to check that. Skills That Rustle My Jimmies Carrot 2022-07-09 | Bit of a short video, but I wanted to try something that is a far leap from my usual stuff. This is kind of a half-serious half-joke video, but I like how it turned out. You'll notice about half the footage is old and half is new, and that's because I had some really good moments in the old footage. First up was the Bad Piggies theme by Ilmari Hakkola which is an unironic banger. The second is Loonboon by Laura Shigihara, which I'm sure needs no introduction. Both of these are fast paced, high energy songs that fit the video perfectly. I originally wanted the Banjo Kazooie theme, but I don't feel like poking the sleeping dragon that is Nintendo.
Overly Stacked Krinkov | Bi-Weekly Build Carrot 2022-07-02 | Fun fact, this was the most annoying bi-weekly build to record so far. I could not for the life of my find pubs that didn't cheat. Sometimes you just sit on crime.net for 15 minutes and nothing happens, and that's just the payday ds loud experience. So, I gave up and hosted myself. Other than that, you could go anarchist and invest points into ammo, absolving the entire issue with this build, but I don't want to just lean onto anarchist builds all the time for these videos. Anarchist is a bit too easy to make work. First game footage recorded on new pc, so now you get high fps and high quality! Well, I mean sort of. I have footage for the next couple of videos from old recordings, but I will say the 5 maniac builds video will be entirely new footage. Music was Outbreaker by Hinkik. When I think of Hinkik, this song always gets outshined by Time Leaper, but really, this is a banger on its own.
9k Subscriber Special and Another Incredible Song Cover Carrot 2022-06-26 | I might as well go over what I think about the midlanch ranch here since why not, yknow? It's ok. The objectives are uninteresting, and there's a lack of polish in parts. The new marshals aren't a threat at all, so you can play without even needing to think they're there. The song on the map is also ok. Like it's good, but so far is only comparable to the worst songs in both the Mexico and triad campaigns. It has this annoying like, idk how to describe it you know where it goes "uWAAA uWAAA dun dundun dun dun dun", throughout the song and it really grates my ears. The bundle just isn't worth it at all, the cosmetic stuff in the tailor pack is garbage, the heist is ok, and the weapon pack brings meta defining weapons.
