Beneath the shimmering moon, Siegfried arrives at a mystical lake surrounded by the ruins of an ancient chapel. He prepares to strike, but as his arrow is drawn, the most beautiful swan he has ever seen transforms before his eyes into a maiden—Odette. Terrified, she pleads for mercy, and in the hush of the night, she reveals her sorrowful secret. She and her companions are bound by Rothbart’s spell, doomed to live as swans by day, regaining their human forms only when the moon graces the water. Only true, eternal love—given freely by one who has never loved before—can break the curse.
Siegfried, captivated, swears his undying love, and they dance under the silver light, their hearts entwining. But their moment of hope is shattered by Rothbart’s sudden appearance. The sorcerer looms over them, a sinister shadow against the night, but Odette stops Siegfried from attacking—if Rothbart dies before the spell is lifted, the curse will remain forever. Part 1: Christmas Eve
The scene opens in the grand Stahlbaum mansion, glowing with warmth and celebration on a snowy Christmas Eve. Guests dance beneath the twinkling lights of a majestic Christmas tree, and the air is filled with music, laughter, and the scent of holiday treats. Into this joyous scene steps Drosselmeyer, a mysterious and captivating figure, who presents young Clara with an unusual gift—a Nutcracker doll, finely crafted and full of hidden charm.

Bathed in soft sparks of enchantment, he transforms into a gallant Prince, ready to defend Clara from the sudden invasion of the Mouse King and his mischievous army.

Scene 4: Giselle’s Protection and Dawn’s Salvation
Giselle, now a spirit, steps in to protect Albrecht. Despite her ghostly form, her love for him remains strong. She dances with Albrecht, her affection giving him strength and slowing the Wilis’ deadly influence. As dawn approaches, the Wilis’ power weakens, and they retreat to their graves, unable to survive in daylight. Giselle, freed from their control due to her selfless love and forgiveness, is finally able to rest in peace.
