The sides are occupied by a team each, with their spawn point area unreachable (which were reachable in the Salmon Run version with slopes and a thin path). The defending team occupies their own unreachable area, but it's easier to ink from below.- The Ultra Signal is placed at the middle, where it's placed atop a pole that must be reached by standing on the rectangular floor to trigger its ascent. Note that the floor rises when anyone is standing there, but in case no one is standing above it but it's still up, that's because it still rises if it detects anyone swimming around its walls, so always suspect an ambush if you're going up alone.- The Ultra Signal has two different effects when taken. The first Ultra Signal triggers the usual Sprinkler of Doom for the lucky side. The second one, though, doesn't trigger a second sprinkler, but the cannons at the back of the stage will activate and shoot Fizzbangs to the center of the stage.- Rainbow Color Inkantation will always play on this stage, or randomly in other modes. It's a song that combines all idols from past to future, singing the opening lines of Calamari Inkantation by the Squid Sisters, Color Pulse by Off the Hook, and the 3rd and 4th lines of Calamari Inkantation 3MIX's intro by Deep Cut. At the end of each track, the idols sing out their usual signing out catchphrases from their respective broadcasts.- Curiously, the team that triggers the second Ultra Signal alters Rainbow Color Inkantation's last minute with their supported idol group singing. Past has the Squid Sisters sing City of Color, Present has Off the Hook sing Ebb & Flow, and Future has Deep Cut sing...a track they haven't released yet. The track doesn't change if the defending team keeps the second Ultra Signal from being taken and just lets the song use an original instrumental base version from Calamari Inkantation.- The song plays randomly in other stages, but it will lack alternate versions of the last minute no matter who takes the second Ultra Signal.Watch, enjoy, and comment, everyone.
