Originally completed in 1801 titled "Piano Sonata No. 14". This piece was dedicated to Beethoven's pupil Julie Guicciardi. This composition would later become known as Mondscheinsonate, or Moonlight Sonata, and would go on to be one of the most iconic musical compositions of all time.
