Dive into the realm of groundbreaking innovation with Larsen & Toubro Limited's latest endeavor in Barmer, Rajasthan, India – the Rajasthan Refinery Project. Securing the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) contract, L&T is set to weave magic with the Dual Feed Cracker Unit (DFCU) under EPCC-07 Package, boasting a capacity of 890,000 tons per year. Simultaneously, the Petrochemical Fluidized Catalytic Cracking (PFCC) in EPCC-03 Package, with a capacity of 2.9 million tons per year, takes center stage. Both units, licensed by TechnipFMC, promise to redefine the landscape of petrochemical excellence.
The DFCU, a marvel of thermal cracking, transforms Refinery Naphtha and Offgases into coveted polymer-grade Ethylene and Propylene.
