It patterned perfectly out of the box. It's a featherweight 20 gauge. I used 7/8th ounce shells by Fiocchi. The gun weighs 6 pounds and balances perfectly between the hands. Wood to metal fit is near perfect. It has about 20% scroll engraving coverage. This gun came with a lifetime warranty from Dickinson. I purchased it from Pacific Sporting Arms in Azusa California.
