A lot has happened, and I do want to share that with you. But this is far more important. Secondly, as for why the visual part of this video is so plain, because of moral reasons, I do not wish to infringe on anyone's copyright. (The stupidity of copyright law is an issue for another time).Thirdly, I know that I probably have some non-Americans, and certainly a lot of non-Michiganians/Michiganders, so this is not going to be relevant to everyone, but please share with any friends from Michigan you might have.Finally, it is time for my thoughts. I am going to ask you to not read this until after you have listed too, or read the text first. I am a Catholic, and I believe in what the Catholic Church holds to on the issues of abortion, contraception, sterilization and all other matters related to the Theology of the Body and the Faith in general. I believe the line "the state may regulate the provision of abortion care after the point of fetal viability..." is self-defeating because a pro-abortion "health care professional" may declare at nine months that if a woman does not get an abortion her "mental health" will suffer. The whole amendment seems to be loaded with language that makes it sound moderate, when in actuality the apparent compromising elements are all self-defeating, leaving us with the real possibility any woman could murder her child. Notice, there is no mention of parental consent, meaning that those under the age of 18 could have abortions or be sterilized without parental consent. You can say slippery slope all you want, but that sounds to me like this amendment could undo the "children cannot consent" present that we have to protect children from evil.
