Finally tackling a long-overdue request from the Genshin Impact community! 😠Here is my play-along piano cover of "Lovers' Oath" (Guizhong's Theme / Liyue OST), arranged specifically to fit a 61-key keyboard.
"Lovers' Oath" is easily one of the most emotional, bittersweet pieces Yu-peng Chen ever composed for Genshin. Because of the sweeping arpeggios and fast note passages at the end, I was always intimidated to try this on a shorter 61-key register without a full 88-key piano. After sitting down a few nights ago, I finally worked out a custom arrangement that preserves all the emotional impact of those final bars without running out of keys!
To make this cover truly immersive, I used AI stem separation software to completely remove the original piano parts from the official soundtrack, leaving only the beautiful original orchestral backing. What you hear is my live piano performance seamlessly blended into the official Liyue strings and woodwinds.
