This is a song I wrote as a tribute when my grandfather died. One of these songs that comes to you whole, as if it dictated from above. My grandfather was quite a beautiful being. I spoke at his funeral and I was amazed how many people came to talk to me afterwards telling me their stories how much my grandfather had helped them. My grandfather, Jose Angel Navarrete had been a banker in Cuba and shortly after arriving, despite the fact he was already 65 yrs. old, he got a job doing bookkeeping and income tax. He worked there for a year and learned what was to learn about doing taxes in the good ol' USA. Then he opened his own business and apparently he helped a lot of Cuban refugees moneteraly, both here and abroad. ~X~
