A long night of looking pays off at sunrise when I pull onto the main road of a small ghost town on the east plains of Colorado. Established in 1912 the town of Aroya was built by one civil war veteran looking to bring the meat market to the mountains, and he ended up starting the J.O.D. Ranch. The ranch was located near the Kansas-Pacific Railroad and created a watering stop for travelers. Now the area is full of heavy energy of the souls that remain in the shells of these buildings, and the walls hold stories that will be forever untold
