UWM’s online master’s in social work prepares you for a career where you can make a difference right in your hometown. Take classes online and complete your fieldwork in a variety of settings in your community. Fieldwork placements include hospitals, mental health programs, nonprofit organizations and more. Graduates go on to careers as clinical social workers, social service administrators, program developers, grief counselors and victim advocates. Two tracks are available: one for students who earned a bachelor’s in social work and one for students who are interested in changing careers.
