*Please read* Hi everyone! Meet our new family memeber :) isn't she gorgeous!!
Her story;
She is about 4 months old, we found her on a online advert and I fell in love with her, she belonged to a child who had lost interest in her. We haven't decided on a name for her yet and we weren't told what she was called before she came to live with us but we are trying out different names to see what suits her :)
She didn't come from the best environment so we have to sort out a few health issues before she goes near the piggie room. She is in quarantine at the moment in a separate room until we know she is healthy.
She has already had to have a bath because the child who owned her before tried bathing her and left some human shampoo in her hair, she also has a really bad infestation of lice so we are treating her for that with the amazing 'lice n easy' shampoo from Gorgeous Guineas. She also had urine stains up her legs and bum but is all clean now :)
She is limping on her back leg and we are not yet sure whether it is developmental due to her poor diet, sore feet or whether she was handled roughly. Her feet are also red and sore from the lack of bedding (which was pretty hard on her feet) so I am now using 'perfect paws' ointment from GG to help them.
When we went to pick her up, her cage had no hay in and her food was mostly corn but we now have her on a good food and with plenty of hay :) Despite not having the perfect start, she is a lovely friendly girl and spends most of her time playing in her hay or chatting away.
