Some people think its an invasion of privacy. But it can be very helpful to have yourself tracked by a friend or family member. I'be got nothing to hide and when you need to be tracked is when you want to be tracked. Dropping your phone on a ride somewhere in 20 miles would not be a good time should you not be tracked. Getting help when you need it is another reason to be tracked.

IMO, the safety aspect far outweighs the privacy aspect.
