On this episode of Trespasser Customs, I enter a huge, unfinished Trespasser map that was intended to be a sequel to Causeway. While lacking in ambient audio, dinosaurs, weapons, or puzzles due to the engine limitations that put an end to work on the map, there's still quite a lot of map to see with quite a bit of work put in. Starting at the tunnel that you use to leave Causeway, we head through the jungle and run into the perimeter fences around the treatment plant compound. Before we head inside though, we take a few detours to check out a Biosyn landing force and a road leading past a Dilophosaurus pit and up to a another robot themed Cryolophosaurus. Back at the compound, we have a bunch of building to poke around that likely would have housed some sort of water pipe puzzle. Inside an Operations Building we find a tunnel that leads through a hill and into a small embryonics lab. From there we can follow the power lines up into the mountains, where a few Chaos Effect raptors are hanging around and guarding a facility tucked away in a mountain valley. While the elevator leading down to the front door is out of service, a detour around the side leads to a ledge we can use to hop on the roof and make our way down into the building, where we run into a BIG surprise.

![Boss Bytes: First Chameleos Hunt [Monster Hunter Rise]
For the next Boss Bytes hunt in Monster Hunter Rise, were going after a sneaky and somewhat goofy Elder Dragon, the Chameleos. Capable of rendering itself nearly invisible like its namesake, the Chameleos can also spray a more dangerous poison as a cloud it can direct by fanning its wings. For some reason it also emits a fog that temporarily shrouds the area, however this seems to just make its camouflage less effective.

![First Impressions On: The Chant
[Released November 3, 2022]
On this episode of First Impressions, Jess decides that she needs a getaway from her everyday life when she sees a dead woman pop up during her morning jog. On the invitation of her friend Kim, she heads out to a spiritual retreat on Glory Island, where they practice Prismic Science. The island seems nice, aside from an infestation of aggressive flies and some other things we witness in the prologue. After meeting Guru Tyler and all the other inhabitants around the commune, Jess settles in. That night, she joins her first Chant, a ritual that cleanses negative energy by feeding it to extra-dimensional entities from the Gloom dimension. However, before the ritual is completed, Kim has a violent outburst due to her Intermittent Explosive Disorder. She runs off, breaking the circle before the dimensional link can be severed. Jess wakes up alone, and goes looking for Kim and the others, leading her through the old crystal mines towards the lighthouse and cannery buildings. On the way, we encounter a number of strange, Mind damaging phenomena that Jess wisely runs away from. At the Cannery, we find a very unhelpful Tyler and a seemingly possessed Kim. Helpfully, Tylers predecessors in practicing Prismic Science have left behind helpful info on the Gloom creatures, as well instructions for un-possessing a disciple.

![Boss Bytes: First Garangolm Hunt [Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak]
For the first Boss Bytes hunt in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, were going after the first of the Three Lords, a trio of monsters pulling inspiration from classic Universal monsters. Garangolm is based off of Frankensteins monster and the golems that were in turn his inspiration. But this big ol stone gorilla also has a unique trick up his sleeve, or rather on them: dual elements in the form of a fire arm and a water arm.

On this episode of First Impressions, theres supernatural evil afoot in the old American West, and its the duty of the Rentier Institute to root out and destroy the worst of it. So, we blow up a train full of vampires and their snacks to snag a tick that can lead us to DAbano.
