It’s such a delight to see lesser white-fronted geese bred at Nordens Ark being released into the wild. Soon, they will form a flock with wild geese which is important as the inexperienced birds may need some guidance on their journey south in the fall.
Three of the released birds are marked with GPS transmitters, which means that we will be able to follow their move and gain more knowledge about this species, which is critically endangered in Sweden.
