Since the Coda Deluxe Edition released, I've always wondered what both Bring It On Home tracks would sound like merged, so I went ahead and did that! I roughly followed the structure of the 1972 live versions when crafting this mix:
Blues Intro—Stanza 1 (II)—Stanza 2 (II)—Stanza 3 (II)—Stanza 4 (II)—Coda Version—Stanza 3 (II)—Stanza 4 (II)—Blues Outro
In place of the breakdown in the 1972 versions, I fit in the Coda version. Just as the live versions, the 3rd/4th stanza (roughly) repeat.
For anyone wondering the status of the next Deluxe Edition concert, (May 31 + June 3, 1973), it is coming along. Slowly. Though the COVID-19 pandemic has shut down work in many places, I find myself busier now due to classes shifting online (with an increase of work,) on top of working more hours (remotely at home.)
It'll come eventually. Definitely before the years' end (2022 UPDATE: It hasn't... not sure when it'll be done). But I need to prioritize work + education before my passion project.
