if you like the look of journal covers but dont buy leather, here’s how i built one that’ll last!

pocket - width 9 1/8” x height 6”
•holds a passport size notebook (3.5” x 4.88” ) & field notes (3.5” x 5.5”)

standard- 10” x 8.5”
•holds a standard traveler’s notebook or A5 slim

1. fold in half lengthwise to find and mark your mid line.

2. fold in half widthwise to find the center of the pattern and mark a hole for the placement of your horizontal elastic band.

3. along the midline measure 3/8” from the top & bottom & mark for your notebook/insert elastic. mark a secondary hole 1/4” from the first set.
