With the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon series next year, I thought that it was finally time to talk about Pokémon Red & Green on the channel. As someone who grew with the series and has always had weird looks when I tell people that Gen 1 is my favorite Pokémon generation, I want to explain why I love these Game Boy classics. Pikachu is part of the reason why, but there's more to Gen 1 than just the mascot character for Game Freak!
