WoT the Adaptation! 2024-12-30 | Last week on WoT the Adaptation's Descent into Avernus, the Murder of Crowe's convinced Reya that Kreeg was no longer a Cleric of Torm, and that he was in bed with the Vanthampurs evil deeds... They took Kreeg prisoner. With the Help of a new friend, Falaster Fisk, the Crowe's were able to find a secret room. Inside they found the Duke Thalamra, kneeling before a statue of the Arch Devil Zariel they swiftly disposed of the evil cultists. Leaving the sewers and going back up to the Manor, Julian and company discovered Mortlock asleep in his bed, with a Troll Doll in a yellow dress on his chest. Some conversations were had, and Mortlock is planning to flee Baldur's Gate. WoT the Adaptations Descent into Avernus Session 1.11 (Reupload) WoT the Adaptation! 2024-12-19 | Last week on WoT the Adaptation's Descent into Avernus, the Murder of Crowe's continued their exploration of the Vanthampur Manor's basement, where they encountered yet more cultists! After making sure some cultists never wake up again, they continued to explore the basement and stumbled upon Thavius Kreeg's room. The first thing the Murder of Crowes noticed about Kreeg is that his Shadow appears to be that of a pudgy, horned fiend with small wings. Julian and Crowe were immediately suspicious that Kreeg wasn't who he said he was.... Now From Reya's Perspective... I managed to sneak into Baldur's Gate with a few refugees before they locked down the gates... We didn't get far before the Flaming fist found us... We scattered, yet one of those Flaming Fist thugs cornered me; I managed to run him through and escape... I've been a fugitive in Baldur's Gate ever since.... This city is a cesspool of corruption and death lurks around every foggy corner. Those slimy bastards believe my order are using the refugees to infiltrate this rotten city! To make a long story short, the Murder of Crowe's rescued me from the murder cult, and fortune favored me as Crowe hailed from Elturel! I've helped them rid this foul city of the Murder Cult, and in that quest we were lead to the Vanthampur's basement and to the High Overseer of Elturel, Thavius Kreeg! Julian and Crowe have let the madness of this sewer taint their judgement! They actually believe that the High Observer Thavius Kreeg isn't who he says he is just because of a trick of the shadows! Amrik fled the manor in the chaos, right into his brother Mortlock's club. Mortlock ordering the guards patrolling the manor to stand down, as he delivered an unconscious Amrik to the group just as they were dispatching the last of the guards.The group proceeded to explore the manor, tying Amrik up to his bed. They found Thurstwell who greeted Crowe with a sacred flame to the face, but was swiftly knocked out and tied up next to Amrik. WoT the Adaptations Descent into Avernus Session 1.08 (Reupload) WoT the Adaptation! 2024-11-28 | Last week on WoT the Adaptation's Descent into Avernus, the Murder of Crowe's went to the Low Lantern Tavern to get a "loan" from Amrik Vanthampur to crew their ship. As part of their Negotiations, they attempted to lure him to the Elfsong Tavern where they could capture him. Amrik had a counter offer. WoT the Adaptations Descent into Avernus Session 1.06 (Reupload) WoT the Adaptation! 2024-11-14 | Last week on WoT the Adaptation's Descent into Avernus, Crowe shot Betty White, fortunately for the party, Betty White dropped her disguise and revealed her self as a cultist and started stabbing people.This time with a torch lit, the party retraced their steps, and found a hidden door. Beyond that door, they were confronted with a long corridor. Julian attempted to listen at the first door for any danger, but he wasn't able to tell if there was anything beyond, as the sound of fighting further down the hallway drowned out the more subtle signs of life he was looking for.Moments later, the party rounded the corner and they found Mortlock engaged in a life or death battle with a would be Assassin named Vaaz, hired by his brothers, Amrik and Thurstwell behind their mother, Duke Thalamra's back. The party barely survived their scrape with Vaaz, who went on a murderous rampage, stabbing his way through the entire party, until Wardrax lopped Vaaz's head clean from his body.Without a moment to lose, Crowe immediately went to work on her fallen comrades. While they napped, Wardrax and Crowe barricaded the room they were in, and took much needed, long rest. WoT the Adaptations Descent into Avernus Session 1.07 WoT the Adaptation! 2024-11-11 | Last week on WoT the Adaptation's Descent into Avernus, the Murder of Crowe's escaped the dungeon of the dead three with a horde of treasure, and more questions then they had answers to. They group confronted Captain Zodge about the danger's they faced in an attempt to get some sort of aid to complete the mission, but they quickly rebuked as Zodge made it clear that all of the Flaming Fists resources were tied up dealing with refugee crisis. Later that day, the party met back at Elfsong Tavern, and after talking with Mortlock they learned that his Brother Amrik is their Mother's favorite. They're planned on casing the Low Lantern tavern that Mortlock told them about, and abducting Amrik as a bargaining chip before confronting Duke Thalamra Vanthampur at her manor. WoT the Adaptations Descent into Avernus Session 1.05 (Reupload) WoT the Adaptation! 2024-11-10 | Last week on WoT the Adaptation's Descent into Avernus, Wardrax dissected a desiccated and quite moist mummy, finding a magical bag of beans.... They later discovered a room full of zombies, and Wardrax promptly threw the beans at the zombies, causing a massive explosion.Later they found another prisoner shackled to a wall. WoT the Adaptations Descent into Avernus Session 1.06 WoT the Adaptation! 2024-10-28 | Last week on WoT the Adaptation's Descent into Avernus, Crowe shot Betty White, fortunately for the party, Betty White dropped her disguise and revealed her self as a cultist and started stabbing people. This time with a torch lit, the party retraced their steps, and found a hidden door. Beyond that door, they were confronted with a long corridor. Julian attempted to listen at the first door for any danger, but he wasn't able to tell if there was anything beyond, as the sound of fighting further down the hallway drowned out the more subtle signs of life he was looking for. Moments later, the party rounded the corner and they found Mortlock engaged in a life or death battle with a would be Assassin named Vaaz, hired by his brothers, Amrik and Thurstwell behind their mother, Duke Thalamra's back. The party barely survived their scrape with Vaaz, who went on a murderous rampage, stabbing his way through the entire party, until Wardrax lopped Vaaz's head clean from his body. Without a moment to lose, Crowe immediately went to work on her fallen comrades. While they napped, Wardrax and Crowe barricaded the room they were in, and took much needed, long rest. WoT the Adaptations Descent into Avernus Session 1.04 (Reupload) WoT the Adaptation! 2024-10-24 | Last week on WoT the Adaptation's Descent into Avernus, the Murder of Crowes attempted to interrogated some prisoners, they gained a new follower named Reya, After attempting to free her from her shackles the party was attacked by some animated gauntlets, the prisoner escaped, a Necromancer sent a barrage of necromantic spells at the party, meanwhile Waldrox nearly got eaten by a swarm of skeletal rats. Last week on WoT the Adaptation's Descent into Avernus, the Murder of Crowes made friends with Pirates. A swamp Witch, a Cleric, A Barbarian, and a Rogue walked into a Bathhouse... After the obligatory Anime Hot Spring Episode, Julian discovered a hidden door to the cultists hidden dungeon, and waited behind the door until the bathhouse closed to let the others in. He quickly retreated when he noticed a light approach the bottom of the stairs. Meanwhile outside, Crowe was attacked while popping a squat in the bush, after the battle, the group began their descent into the Dungeon of the Dead Three.
