A diary excerpt from Dec 3, 2024 before I went public with my effort: ‘I must remember to first enter their perspective and learn the details of their world. Once I orient myself, I must then utilize their lens to communicate with them. Understanding is achieved faster when common ground is established, but there’s nothing in the rules that state the common ground must be my own.’
This can be correlated to an excerpt graphic presented at the beginning of the video: “they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.”
