Jabberwocky Draikinator 2024-10-14 | WOW.... okay. Where do I even start?I started this project over a year ago. It's been a very long process. The entire thing was made by two people, me and Ashanimus. All of the animation is by me, and the backgrounds and music are done by them.This video is about my Owl House OC, Jasper. He is the Golden Guard that preceeds Hunter, Darius' mentor. Unlike Hunter, he is aware he is a Grimwalker and was created as a fully formed adult. He knows that he is a servant, and knows that he will be replaced- because it's his job to grow his replacement. To grow Hunter. He's significantly more indoctrinated and brainwashed than Hunter is, but like all the other Grimwalkers before him, he eventually turns. Upon discovering the Graveyard he realizes the true depth of Belos' evil and decides to run away-But he can't leave Hunter behind.Another part of this collab is a full audiobook of my fanfic about him by Idlescree! I'm incredibly proud of this story and I hope that after watching this, if you enjoyed it, you'll give it a listen! I think it came out amazingly.This has been a labour of love and passion for a long time now. It has some of the most complex animation I've ever attempted, and it's definitely the biggest project I've ever done. I am extremely proud of it.I am also posting it today because it is my birthday! This entire project was very personal to me, and finishing it by my birthday was a gift to myself, to meet this deadline. You can also see I didn't finished the storyboard before I started animating, and I didn't do the storyboard in order! I can just do a little more editing and make a video for the whole song! You guys really enjoyed that little dancing cat animation I did when I looped it for like five minutes, which was requested a bunch lol, so I was like hey, I bet people would enjoy a longer video if I loop this stuff to cover the whole thing! So thats what I did and I think its super fun even if its a relatively simple video compared to some of my others which feature shorter and more complex animation, its like, a different vibe, you know! But this fits the vibe of the song really well.
