In this replay of my language arts livestream, I explore exciting elementary language arts topics — including grammar, figurative language, shades of meaning, and consonants and vowels!
In the first part of the video, you'll learn about important grammar topics like the four types of sentences, sentence fragments, run-on sentences, common and proper nouns, articles, adjectives, action verbs, and helping verbs. Then, as the lesson continues, we move into figurative language and learn about similes, metaphors, and idioms. We also explore shades of meaning and finish by learning about consonants and vowels. If you already understand some of these topics, it will still be a great review! As the lesson continues, we’ll build on those ideas so that by the end you’ll have a bigger picture of how language arts works together.
